At some point...

Food is one of the great joys of life. To remove everything that you enjoy from your diet in order to conform to what the most recent issue of Fitness says you should be eating for the most lean muscle mass is, to me, nuts. Unless you're one of those people who really just doesn't care about food and what it tastes like. In which case, you ARE nuts. ;P

For weight loss, the most important thing is portion size and caloric intake. Sneaking an Oreo won't balloon you up three dress sizes. Snarfing down a bag of them every week might.

And it's true.....eating 'healthy' and organic IS expensive. It doesn't fit into everyone's budget, sad to say. But the 'conventional' meats and produce aren't going to kill you either....I think a lot of what people are paying for is their own peace of mind and not much else.
You know, I watched both my parents go through heart surgeries...that was hard. That was such an eye opener to what I'm doing to my body.

And also, I used to be overweight, I've worked soooo hard to be where I'm at now.I wish my parents would just step outta the box for a minute and realize their daughter doesn't eat shit everyday and that "everything in moderation"works for me.
