I didn't quite stick to a healthy diet this weekend but it's alright. Here are some places I ate and I loved it!
Jerry's Famous Deli located in Encino, CA. YUMMMMM...I ordered a half Reuben with onion rings and I was in meat heaven. I fuckin love Reuben's!!!!!!!
Sorry no pictures of my sandwich but my taste buds remember the cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island goodness.
More than Waffles Located in Encino as well.
Nutella with Banana Belgium Waffles.......He ordered a Mediterrenean Omelette. It must have been good cuz he didn't offer me a bite! And don't let me forget, they're coffee was da bomb...
I remember back when I didn't know how to cook worth shit, I told myself I'd tackle lasagna.People always talked about how hard it was and my mom refused to cook it.
Well one day I mapped it out in my head.
Ok, this is basically a meat sauce with noodles, layered with cheeses and whatever else you'd like to throw in there....Then when I first made it, I was highly impressed.
Cooking became a passion, not a chore.
Tonight menu...Lasagna w/ cornbread. Who said you can't have cornbread with lasagna? This is my kitchen.
If your Vox Neighborhood had a potluck dinner tonight, what dish, drink or dessert would you bring?
I would bring my Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake that I made on Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. I heard that drinks were on you guys though....
For a full sit-down dinner with several guests, would you rather be the one cooking or do you prefer to just show up and eat?
Honestly, I would rather be the one cooking. I get a rush from it.
